What do deliciously easy banana bread, last minute DIY Christmas gifts and KRAFT MIRACLE WHIP Dressing have to do with each other? For me, one is the means to another and then to the other. 🙂 I can quickly and simply enjoy the end of my Christmas preparations when I incorporate MIRACLE WHIP into one of my all-time favorite DIY Christmas Gifts — banana bread. This recipe is so easy and the results are scrumptious! You can’t miss when you wrap up this moist and flavorful quick bread for a holiday hostess gift, teacher gift or surprise for the neighbors. Your mailman will be ecstatic at the delicious treat. There are so many people we appreciate and, often, too few funds to express that with purchased gifts, but gifts from the heart, made with love in your own kitchen, will be a hit EVERY time! It won’t hurt that your gift is delectably fabulous, either!
Baked goods for gift-giving don’t need to be difficult or time consuming to be wonderful. This simple banana bread comes together in minutes and when paired with something like my homemade Vanilla Cream Cheese Honey Butter Spread, it’s a beautiful gift at Christmas time.
MIRACLE WHIP is always on the shelf in our fridge, year round. It gets as much use during the holidays, as any other time of year. It’s used in turkey sandwiches, deviled eggs, pasta salads, dressings, plus sauce and dip recipes. My confidence in KRAFT quality makes it a natural addition to many of our favorite dishes and a product that is always present in my kitchen. Now, KRAFT MIRACLE WHIP is an integral ingredient in my banana bread, too. Like so many of my favorite KRAFT products, it’s easy to find at my local Walmart. Typically it’s on the bottom shelf of Aisle 9, near salad dressings. This week it was also on the end cap of the same aisle and I was able to save almost $1.00 per jar!
To make Easy Banana Bread, you don’t need to break the bank with a long list of ingredients. All you need is eight basic pantry staples that are likely already in your cupboards.
Beat eggs, MIRACLE WHIP and mashed bananas together in a mxing bowl. Be sure the bananas are mashed, well, and use a whisk to combine all three ingredients.
Mix the remaining ingredients, together, and then add them to the banana mixture. Stir just until all the dry ingredients are moistened and the ingredients are evenly combined, leaving a smooth, lump-free batter.
Bake the bread according to the complete recipe instructions, which you can find at KRAFT.com. Your loaves will be moist, flavorful and scrumptious when you pull them from the oven!
While you wait for the bread to cool, make some easy gift tags to add to your DIY Christmas packages. I’m even sharing one of my own sets, today. Click the image below, to download the pdf file and print as many as you need. Enjoy!
When your bread is cooled, wrap and label it. Arrange it in gift tins or baskets with other baked goods or a jar of Vanilla Cream Cheese Honey Butter Spread and then get ready for the smiles, when you make your deliveries!
