Our nineteen-year-old has put X Out, (from the makers of Proactiv) to the test, over the last few weeks.  As I mentioned in my original post, she has struggled with severe acne associated with a chronic illness, for several years.  She was excited to put X Out to the test and try to alleviate one of her most frustrating symptoms.

As the weeks have gone by, she has commented several times that she loves the exhilarating and refreshing “feel” of the face wash as she’s using it and she feels like her skin is better conditioned – softer.  While it has not cleared up the worst areas of her existing acne, it DOES seem to have prevented her from having any other really severe breakouts.  I haven’t been able to corner her, this weekend, for an after picture.

The QR videos were a toss up for her.  She watched them, occasionally, but did not see them as a real benefit of the product.  In her words, ” If I was in such a hurry that two minutes was too much, adding a video to my list of things to do was not helpful.”  She would definitely use the product, even if there were no videos.

She will use the product for a few more weeks, before deciding if it is something she will continue with long-term.  We’re still hoping to see more of the existing severe acne clear up with continued use.
