I was just catcing up (I mean I was 5 months behind!) reading some comments on LinkedIn and came upon yours. Thank you for speaking up about your Christian stand and how it shapes all that you do! I am also a Christian – mother of three daughters that have all left home now. One is married and they have two young ones – what a blessing! I also hope to reach many families with good programming and parenting skills that will enrich their relationships.
Hey Glenda, two things…well, maybe three :~) I wanted to say what a shame it is that i’m just now reading your wonderful amazing fantastic blog, i LOVE it!!! :~) #2, i wanted to know how to subscribe so i can hear the latest on your reviews and advice and all that wisdom you’ve stored up; i want it all!!! :~) and #3, i was wondering if you would do a review of MY product…my CD – we can work out the details later but i think that other moms like myself would like some encouraging, uplifting, perspective changing music while they’re cooking and cleaning…??? what do you think? :~) :~) :~) i would definitely be willing to do some give-aways like CDs and concert tickets……no pressure :~)
Woohoo! Love that idea! Yes, I want to review your CD. Can it be part of my Birthday Bash!!!????!!!!! P.S. Put your email address in the box in the sidebar and hit that Subscribe button. All my updates will come straight to your email.
I am so excited that i found your site! I am a 25 year old mother of two young little girls and am planning on homeschooling. I was homeschooled along with my 4 other siblings but am still frightened by the thought of teaching my own children. Even though my daughter is only 3 I am now looking for support from other familys around me and starting to look into what I want to use in teaching her.
Hannah, I’m glad you found me, too. Don’t hesitate to ask if I can answer any questions or point you in the right direction. You can definitely do it. God picked you specially for your children and He never makes mistakes! Hope to see you around the site, again.
Hi Glenda! Thank you for sharing your recipe for laundry detergent. I can’t wait to try it out. I just was wondering, is there a certain type of pot that I should use when making it? It did not want to cause some weird reaction. Thanks!
You’re very welcome. I don’t think it would make any difference. I usually mix mine in a large rubbermaid pitcher, but I would think any container that you can cover overnight, would be fine. It is just laundry detergent, so I’m guessing if you wouldn’t be afraid to put commercial laundry detergent in it, it should work with this recipe. Thanks so much for stopping by!
I have a question regarding the Elmer’s paint markers. Whe I use on glass the paint rubs off….! Is ere a way to seal it? Is it supposed to be baked? Thank you. You have an awesome website.
I honestly don’t know what to tell you. Mine didn’t rub off and even after all this time, is still like the day I painted it. I wonder if there are different types? When I bought mine the only ones I saw were acrylic paint. Do you yours say they are some other type?
