Banana Nut Snack Bars
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 (10.5 oz) bag of mini marshmallows
- 6 cups banana nut cheerios
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
In microwave safe bowl, melt the butter.
Add marshmallows and toss lightly to coat with melted butter.
Put back in microwave for 1-2 minutes, stirring every 15 seconds, until marshmallows can be stirred smooth.
Add the pecans and Cheerios. Mix well.
Press into prepared pan. Cool. Cut. Enjoy!
These snack bars are very reminiscent of a more familiar marshmallow treat, however I believe they seem sweeter because of the banana flavor of the cereal. Yes, the Banana Nut Cheerios actually DO taste like banana. Bananas – pecans – snack – How can you go wrong? This recipe is so simple and easy to whip up in a flash.
